At Altai Oil Refinery, there is a compliance officer position occupied by Aidar Meyrambekuly Nurkhan .
The Compliance Officer is an independent official, organizationally subordinate to the Supervisory Board of Altai Oil Refinery LLP and functionally accountable to it. Their activities are aimed at ensuring the fair and ethical conduct of business in accordance with internal documents, international standards, and the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main tasks of the compliance officer are:
• monitoring compliance with mandatory regulatory requirements;
• compliance with internal policies and best practices in the field of anti-corruption compliance;
• development of a culture of business ethics and transparency;
• promoting sustainable corporate governance.
The compliance officer is also responsible for handling reports received through the Confidential Whistleblower Hotline. These reports may concern potential violations of the Code of Corporate Ethics, including cases of corruption, discrimination, abuse, and other unethical behavior.
