Based on the results of the five-year program, 15 projects were implemented, resulting in savings of 116,479 tce, or 15.4% of total energy consumption, with accrual since 2016. Due to low economic efficiency and a long payback period, five projects were excluded from the program. The program is currently complete.
An energy audit is planned for 2021, based on the results of which a new energy conservation program will be developed for the period 2022-2026.
In 2021-2022, it is planned to implement measures to optimize the heat exchange flows of the ELOU AVT-3 unit, which will save 20,464 tons of fuel equivalent, or 3.25% of the plant's total energy consumption.
As part of the program to reduce burnout and losses in 2021, measures will be implemented to "Replace burners in furnaces of the ELOU AT-2 unit" and "Replace burners in furnaces at the UZK unit," which will save fuel consumption and reduce emissions of harmful substances into the environment.
